BEAUTY IS BLACKENED
DAY TURNS TO NIGHT
THE PETALS FALL
FROM THE WITHERED ROSE
HER HEART GROWS COLD
AS HE SLIPS AWAY
EACH MOMENT
PUTTING MORE DISTANCE
BETWEEN THEM
ONCE PURE AND TRUE
A LOVE NOW LOST
BITTERSWEET MEMORIES
LEFT IN ITS PLACE
AFTER PROMISES OF FOREVER
HOW CAN SHE MOVE ON
DOES SHE HAVE THE STRENGTH
TO FACE THE WORLD ALONE

This is really deep; I like it.
This actually reminds me of something that had inspired me to work on my most recent piece, which I'll have up in the near future. Its so hard to explain, but has something to do with the 'gap' in time when someone passes away or disappears and becomes apart from their partner.
Anyways, great job and I hope to see more soon.

Yessum! ;)
More poetry please!
This is not about this post only, but about your poetry in general.
I find a distinct pessimism in all the poems you have written. I am certainly not saying that it is an undesirable trait (there are norms or terms in artistic endeavours) . . . I am simply a little intrigued.
I particularly like Apart and Goddess, though I cannot agree with you view in the latter.
